Application Rates for TurfPro Natural - Dry

Application rates are recommended to be the minimum for full effectiveness.  Because both TurfPro - Natural products  are 100% organic humus, somewhat higher application rates will not do harm and in instances where ammonia buildup or chemical runoff is a problem, higher dosages can be very beneficial. Application rates are for both fines and granular sizes.

Top dressing for potted plants:

1.      2 1/2"  pot                         ½ ounce (1 tablespoon) TurfPro - Natural

2.      4" Pot - shallow                  1 ounce (4 tablespoons) TurfPro - Natural

3.      6"  pot - shallow                  3  ounces TurfPro - Natural

4.      8" pot - shallow                    6  ounces TurfPro - Natural

5.      10" pot - shallow                  8 ounces TurfPro - Natural

6.      12" pot - shallow                   10 ounces TurfPro - Natural

7.      1 gallon container                  6 ounces  TurfPro - Natural

8.      3 gallon container                 12 ounces TurfPro - Natural

9.      5 gallon container                  1 pound TurfPro - Natural 

10.  10 gallon container                  2 pounds TurfPro - Natural

11.  20 gallon container                  3 pounds TurfPro - Natural

Nursery tests show that regular applications (monthly) of TurfPro USA liquid products further enhances the dry product's performance.  Application rates for TurfPro USA liquids are one ounce per gallon of water. (Note: Chlorine in the water kills much of the beneficial biology.)

Potting soil - volume recommendations:

1.      1 cubic foot potting mix                        ½ pound TurfPro - Natural  

2.      1 cubic yard potting mix                        14 pounds TurfPro - Natural

  3%/volume is recommended for full effectiveness.  Rate should not exceed 5%/ volume.

TurfPro Natural - Granular provides a slower release of ingredients.

Field and Crop application rates:

 Application rates are based on medium density soils @ neutral soil ph.  The granular was developed for broadcast/drop application.

1.      Side Dress - Granular per acre          250 pounds Turf Pro Natural

2.      Broadcast       - Granular per acre          300 pounds Turf Pro Natural
